Bee Safety

Bee Sting Safety
Most bee encounters are minor and manageable. However, if you are experiencing a severe reaction to a bee sting:
- Remain calm and move to a safe area
- Remove stingers promptly by scraping (do not squeeze)
- Seek medical attention for signs of allergic reaction
- Call 911 immediately for difficulty breathing, swelling of throat, dizziness, or collapse
- If prescribed, use an epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen) without delay
Individuals with known allergies should always carry their prescribed medication.
